Excited, nervous, intimidated, determined- all are good adjectives to use to describe how I feel to be starting up in OU's photojournalism program. A year and a half removed from any photo classes, I'm ready to jump in and get started. I hope this enthusiasm never wanes.
This is from break. Someday, I will do a story on my Grandparents. 2 amazing people.

Going up to a total stranger can be
intimidating, but it can also be liberating! Getting over the fear of approaching people that you don't know will open a lot of doors and will make events and people more accesible. You will get better at it with each new experience, and before long no one will feel like a stranger to you, nor you to them! Making people feel comfortable talking to someone that they don't know will help you capture the moment before it's over!

Someday you should do a story on them. They would like that alot I'm sure. Don't wait until it's too late for them to enjoy the press!
